World famous flutist, Paula Robison, and fine visual artist, Jim Schantz, have collaborated on a wonderful artistic partnership!

Together they have identified places in the Berkshires that inspire them. Jim (a long-time resident of Stockbridge, MA) created pastels that capture the essence of the site. Paula selected and recorded seventeen pieces of music that are part of the extant repertoire.

The result is a CD of Paula's playing and a catalogue of Jim's work that inspired Paula's choice of music. Tracks include a variation on Amazing Grace, Claude Debussy's Syrinx, Air by Toru Takemitsu, spirituals, hymns, and other songs written specifically for Paula.
