Time and Quiet is a 136 page hard cover book featuring vivid photographs taken by B.A. King of five of his most beloved places: a swamp, a desert, a salt shore, the confluence of two rivers, and a tiny freshwater island. King casts a thoughtful eye on his subjects, and produces both black and white photographs and iris prints with rare honesty and grace. His photographs have illustrated earlier books on subjects from poetry to children to Maine.
