Roz Karol Ablow

Represented by Pucker Gallery since 1999

BORN: 1931 in Allentown, Pennsylvania
RESIDES: Brookline, Massachusetts

Roz Karol Ablow's career has traversed many aspects of the art community in Boston and the surrounding area. Ablow began her education at Bennington College in Vermont, but then took a year off to study the cello at Longy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was not until later that she took up painting and was encouraged to attend Boston University for Visual Arts where she studied under David Aronson. Since then, Ablow has cast her artistic eye on educating, curating, writing and lecturing throughout New England. The most current mixed-media collage pieces are both striking and colorful abstractions of the scenes of everyday existence. Ablow’s work can be found in many public and corporate collections throughout the United States.
