Acclaimed photographer Tony King was born in Canada and was a duel citizen of the United States and Canada. Starting with a Bachelor's degree in French Literature and International Relations from Hamilton College, King later studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. King cast his thoughtful eye on a wide range of subjects and places and created photographs with rare honesty and grace. Always inspired by the natural world, he spent his life telling stories in words and photographs. These images have illustrated countless books, including poetry collections and children’s stories. His photographs are included in numerous public collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
